A Message From The Headteacher

We are a Voluntary Aided Church of England Primary school for 3-11 year olds, based in North Yorkshire. We aim to be a highly inclusive school where everyone matters.

We endeavour to live out our mission statement each day and the children are supported in their learning by dedicated staffgovernorsparents and carers. We have close links with our local church, All Saints.

I encourage you to browse around our website.  You will find details of school events, visitors and activities that serve to enliven the curriculum, alongside information about our after school clubs and extra curricular activities in which your children can participate.

We are currently working in partnership with the Diocese of York, North Yorkshire, North Yorkshire Music Services, The North Star Alliance, our local cluster of Schools and Club Doncaster (Doncaster Rovers) to deliver the very best outcomes we can for our primary aged/school children.

We are very proud of the children and their achievements, and we have a very dedicated staff team that works hard, alongside governors, parents/carers, the church and the whole community to provide the very highest levels of education.

Please contact the school if you would like to know more about us or would like to look around the school. We are always happy to be of assistance, and we would love to hear from you if you have any comments or questions about our school.

Don’t forget to visit our newsletter section for a comprehensive listing of all of the important term events and I look forward to seeing you in school.

Best Wishes

Nick Payling, Head Teacher

Due to Covid, it’s not possible to arrange our traditional Nativity performances. Instead, our children are telling the Christmas story in a special Advent Countdown, with new videos posted daily to our Twitter page. You can watch it by clicking here, or by scrolling to the bottom of this page.

We are currently in consultation over our Admissions Policy for 2022-23. Applications under this policy will generally be for a child born between 1 September 2017 and 31 August 2018, to start at the school in Reception in September 2022 as part of the normal admissions round. However, this policy also covers in year admissions, as well as deferrals/delays to admissions and accelerated admissions. The policy is below, and consultation runs until the end of January 2021.

In the event that we have to close a class bubble due to any reason, we have set up Google classrooms so that your child can continue to learn remotely. If anyone needs to isolate for any reason, we can ensure that their education is not too disrupted. Please read the VIRTUAL CLASSROOM page for full details of how to use it.

If you have a general enquiry, please contact the administrators in the school office (01757 268 368).

“Excellence and enjoyment, rooted in our key Christian values of Perseverance, Friendship, Thankfulness and Wisdom”. Stepping forward together.
